Paint Your Self merupakan sebuah karya yang menggambarkan jati diri dari penulis, di mana penulis dan "persona" nya hadir untuk membentuk satu sama lain. Tanpa adanya penulis, "persona" tidak akan ada. Tanpa adanya persona yang merupakan manifestasi dari imajinasi penulis, maka penulis pun tidak akan terbentuk. "Penulis" dan "persona" adalah sifat yang berbeda namun berasal dari orang yang sama, tanpa adanya salah satu maka kesempurnaan sifat tidak akan terjadi. Maka dari itu, penulis membuat karya "Paint Your Self", di mana kita sebagai manusia harus menerima dan saling membangun semua sifat kita untuk bisa menjadi diri kita sendiri, tanpa membuang yang berbeda, dan terus memperbaiki yang buruk.

My poster art “Serenity” depicts a serene, calming landscape of a still lake reflecting the soft colors of a sunset. Rolling hills dotted with distant trees frame the lake, and a small wooden dock extends out over the water. At the end of the dock, a lone figure sits peacefully, either meditating or quietly enjoying the scene. The sky is painted in gentle pastel shades of pink, orange, and light blue, with a few soft clouds drifting above. The water is perfectly still, mirroring the sky and surrounding nature, creating a tranquil and reflective atmosphere. The overall mood is one of quiet, inner peace.

My artwork “Equanimity”, represents serenity and peacefulness through flowing shapes and smooth gradients. Soft hues of light blue, pink, and lavender blend harmoniously, with curved forms evoking a calm, dream-like atmosphere. The shapes and colors seem to flow into one another, suggesting elements of nature like water and sky without distinct lines. This fluid, formless design conveys a sense of tranquility and inner stillness, where all elements are in perfect balance

My poster art “Tranquility” is focused on serenity and peacefulness. It emphasizes geometric shapes and a harmonious blend of cool and warm colors, creating a calming and reflective effect. I have used geometric shapes like circles and soft-edged rectangles to convey serenity and peacefulness. The color palette includes deep blues, soft whites, and light greens, transitioning gently to warm pastel pinks and oranges. The shapes overlap and blend smoothly, creating layers that evoke a sense of calm and tranquility. The overall composition feels balanced, with blurred edges and minimalistic textures that enhance the meditative, peaceful mood. The combination of cool and warm tones helps create a soothing visual flow, encouraging quiet reflection.

My poster artwork “Radiant Calm”, highlights the balance of energy and tranquility conveyed through the bright colors and flowing design. My artwork bursts with vibrant colors like vivid yellow, sky blue, and coral, creating an energetic yet calming atmosphere. Dynamic, curving lines flow through the composition, creating contrasts that add depth. Bright, glowing orbs and waves of light radiate outward, evoking a sense of peaceful energy. The background features bold color transitions, balancing the intensity of the hues with smooth, flowing shapes. The overall effect is one of vibrant harmony, where the bright, lively colors create a sense of serene balance and tranquility.

In a world full of good and bad, we can either choose peace or violence. It all comes to every fiber of human being. A gun can either hurt, or protect other people. A pencil can write lies or stand up for the truth. A hammer can be used to harm others, but it can also be used to fix broken houses. Even as simple as our hands can either make a peace sign, or a middle finger. things around us are tools of peace, but also a weapon. Like a double-edged blade. Be a mindful human.

A Cat's Doubt

This artwork depicts a cat hiding under a wet blanket to protect itself from the rain. This cat feels doubtful to step out from the blanket due to its insecurity and feeling of not good enough, therefore it stays under the blanket. The rain does make the cat feel uncomfortable but still, it won't harm the cat badly. This artwork represents us, artists who sometimes doubt ourselves and feeling not good enough due to our own insecurities, thus we are afraid to get out of our comfort zone and be authentic and genuine. Although being outside the comfort zone will make us feel uncomfortable, but we will still unharmed and we even can grow better.
The pink blanket symbolizes the comfort zone, and the rain symbolizes the zones beyond the comfort zone. The color pink evokes the feeling of comfort, the color blue (of the rain) could symbolize confidence, as getting out of comfort zone needs confidence. The grey tabby cat symbolizes us, artists, who have spirits of creativity, independence, curiosity, and courage to be our authentic selves (cat's symbolism), but hindered by our feeling of uncertainty and doubt of ourselves and our skills due to our insecurities (the color grey's symbolism).

Golem is a strong, sometimes scary creature made of stone. People usually get him all wrong just because of how he looks, but he might have a heart that’s more genuine than those who seem gentle. But then there’s this little girl—bright and full of joy—who believes in him and becomes his friend. She gave Golem a handkerchief, a little token of friendship, showing the warmth she sees within him.

Well, the world needs more people like that sweet little girl. She looks past the surface and finds the warmth within.

The new ways tend to distract generation before as something to be scared and be frightened of. However, this seem to be proven wrong when we look at the history properly. The diversity and differences of ourself, characters, physical appearances, all types of gender, colour and such bring harmony and peace. What we used to know, can change from a different point-of-view. And that is wonderful, in terms of seeing ourself as a whole.

A Walk Down Memory Lane

"A Walk Down Memory Lane" a metaphorical journey through the past. It implies that the process of self-discovery and pursuit of self-authenticity involves reflecting on childhood experiences and memories. In other words, it's like taking a walk down a mental or emotional path that leads through the different stages of one's life, particularly focusing on the formative years spent as a an individual.

The term of "Wildflower Children" suggests a return to a time of innocence, simplicity, and authenticity. Walking down memory lane can be a way to reconnect with one's authentic self, as the recollections of childhood often serve as a foundation for personal identity, values, and beliefs.

"The Unity"
Each child in this illustration represents a different aspect of our authentic selves, standing together in a never-ending cycle, just like "the circle" they form. Their hands are joined in unity, symbolizing the interconnectedness of our experiences and the journey we undertake to find our true essence. This illustration captures the timelessness of self-discovery and the ongoing quest to embrace our authentic selves, no matter what chapter of life we find ourselves in.

Deep Breath

In a world full of chaos and disruption, having some freedom and peace is super important for keeping our bodies and minds healthy. This illustration shows the need to “pause” and just be still for a moment. "Deep Breath" represents what we often do to calm ourselves down. It’s all about getting rid of bad feelings and easing anxiety. The semi-colon-shaped human and the seven fermatas remind us how crucial it is to hit pause in our lives. The blue waves give us the sense of peace, harmony, and a sense of safety.

“Noir” mengeksplorasi kompleksitas emosi dalam hubungan yang beracun, di mana cinta dan kekerasan saling berkelindan dalam satu jiwa yang terpecah. Terlihat dua sosok laki laki yang sebenarnya adalah representasi dari satu laki-laki yang sama, A. Sosok A pertama (A1) tampak mencium perempuan (B) dengan lembut, mencerminkan perasaan cinta dan keterikatan. Namun, dengan paradoks yang sama, tangan A1 juga mencekik perempuan tersebut, simbol dari keinginan untuk mengontrol dan mendominasi.

Sementara itu, sosok A kedua (A2) berdiri di belakang A1, dengan tali merah yang erat melilit di leher A1. A2 menarik tali tersebut, berusaha mencekik A1 hingga mati. Konflik batin yang mendalam terjadi, A sadar bahwa dirinya menyakiti perempuan yang ia cintai, dan melalui tali merah itu, ia mencoba menghancurkan bagian dirinya yang melakukan kekerasan, meskipun di sisi lain, ia tetap ingin mempertahankan cinta tersebut.

Tali merah menjadi simbol dari gairah yang destruktif, dimana warna merah melambangkan cinta sekaligus kekerasan. Di dalam diri A terjadi pergulatan antara keinginan untuk tetap bersama dan kesadaran akan kerusakan yang ditimbulkan, hubungan yang beracun seringkali menghasilkan kontradiksi yang lucu.

Melalui “Noir” saya mengajak anda untuk merenungkan sisi gelap cinta yang jarang diperbincangkan, tentang bagaimana cinta bisa menjadi penjara yang menyakitkan, bukan hanya bagi yang dicintai tetapi juga bagi yang mencintai.

Ilustrasi ini menggambarkan seorang pria yang tenggelam di dalam air merah, dikelilingi oleh bunga Spider Lily, simbol keputusasaan dan kerelaan dalam melepaskan segala usaha. Di tengah keputusasaan itu, pria tersebut tampak menghirup aroma bunga mawar, sebuah simbol cinta dan dukungan dari orang-orang terdekatnya. Meski tenggelam dalam gelapnya perasaan menyerah, cinta menjadi benang pengikat yang menahan dirinya dari kehampaan.

Dari bunga mawar itu, muncul sosok lain—sebuah versi dari dirinya yang masih berjuang, yang menolak tenggelam dalam keputusasaan. Sosok tersebut mengenakan tudung dan dengan penuh kasih merangkul dirinya yang rapuh, mencoba memeluk dan mengingatkan, bahwa di tengah keterpurukan, selalu ada bagian dalam diri yang masih ingin berjuang, yang masih ingin hidup, bahkan ketika segalanya tampak begitu gelap.

Burung merpati yang terbang mendekat melambangkan ketenangan dan kebebasan, sebuah penanda bahwa ia masih bisa bangkit bila mau percaya pada cinta itu, cinta dari orang lain dan juga dari dirinya sendiri. Ilustrasi ini adalah tentang pertarungan dalam diri, antara tenggelam dan kembali berjuang, tentang kekuatan cinta yang menahan kita di saat semuanya hampir hilang. “Tangan-Tangan Kasih yang Menarikku Kembali” saya buat untuk menyampaikan dan mengingatkan, pada anda, dan pada diri saya sendiri, bahwa walaupun terpuruk dalam kegelapan, cinta—meski hanya setitik—dapat cukup untuk menyelamatkan seorang manusia.

Karya saya menceritakan tentang tentang dua burung dalam perjalanan mencari kebebasan. Ada sebuah burung hitam...kita panggil saja Si Hitam, sayapnya masih kecil yang tidak memungkinkan untuk terbang, sekujur tubuh dia berwarna gelap abu-abu menandakan dirinya yang tidak berwarna, tidak adanya keinginan, dan hilangnya arah Si Hitam dalam menggapai kebebasan yang diinginkan.

Namun datanglah sang burung biru...kita namakan saja Si Biru kepada Si HHitam. sayapnya besar dan indah membuat dirinya mampu terbang dengan bebas dan tinggi, sekujur tubuh yang dipenuhi warna biru...warna yang menandakan kebebasan, dirinya dipenuhi energi positif dan kebahagiaan, sang burung biru sangat bersinar..berbeda dengan Si HItam.

Si Biru menolong Si Hitam dalam mencari jati dirinya. Ia membawa berbagai alat lukis dan mengajaknya berkarya. Dalam ruangan putih penuh kehampaan, Si Hitam dan Biru mampu mewarnai kekosongan disekelingnya menjadi sebuah kanvas yang penuh warna. Lukisan-lukisan memenuhi kanvas putih yang menggambarkan isi pikiran dan hati kedua burung tersebut.

Berkat Si Biru, Si Hitam pun mulai tersenyum, ia bahkan tidak terganggu badan abu-abunya yang ternodai oleh cat, dan sayap hitamnya perlahan bertumbuh besar...ia menemukan keinginannya untuk mencapai kebebasan dan terbang tinggi untuk mencapainya ...kebebasan dalam mencurahkan segalanya pada kanvas kehampaan menjadi penuh warna, kebebasan dalam berkarya dan terbang bersama si biru.

Karya ini saya ciptakan dalam menggambarkan diri sendiri yang semula kehilangan arah dalam mencapai keinginan untuk berkarya. Namun berkat orang sekitar saya yang menjadi inpirasi dan motivasi untuk bangkit dan berkembang mencapai kebebasan kreativitas yang saya impikan. Hari demi hari....saya masih belajar untuk terbang tinggi, namun berkat dorongan dan inspirasi orang disekitar saya, sayap saya akan terus bertumbuh dan pantang terbang tinggi demi impian yang ingin dicapai.

Setiap manusia berkelana mengitar pada bejana dan porosnya masing-masing. Menggeluti jarum hingga mencengkramai kadaver, mengarung seni yang seka tangis harap manusia pada sisi lain pojok ruang gelapnya, meracik bertaruh warna tata keselarasan dalam kotak layar nan terang, hingga berkawan sengat mentari melanjut peradaban pada tunas lambang kehidupan. Racikan itu hanya beberapa contoh kecil saja, manusia tercipta beragam bukan ter'seragam'. Layaknya bejana yang dibentuk sesuai ingin si pemilik. Kita hanya perlu memilih membentuk bejana mana yang ingin dihias menjadi tempat menari dan berpijak di bumi.

The poster conveys the symbolic meaning of the Pingxi Lantern Festival, a cultural event in Taiwan, and combines the image of the doves of peace rising into the sky as a flame to express the prayer for peace. The rising flame of the Pingxi lantern symbolizes people's hope and vision for the future, while the dove of peace represents peace and harmony. This design not only echoes the hope for peace and justice in the goal of sustainable development, but also emphasizes Taiwan's cultural characteristics and people's desire for peace. It is hoped that through this visual presentation, international attention will be drawn to peace, harmony and coexistence.
