Posko Visual 2018 is an event that is not only about appreciating creative works but also about fostering emotional connections among designers to enhance creativity in the face of innovation challenges, serving a role in problem-solving. It emphasizes the close relationship between design roles and the broader community, creating harmony within both creative and non-creative industries. Posko Visual aims to reconstruct the pathways and frameworks of understanding design.

At the outset, designers, as the brains behind a design concept, strive to generate ideas based on demands coming from various directions. However, miscommunication, misinterpretation, and other issues often arise, creating problems that can hinder the impact of a design. Due to this confusion in thinking, Posko Visual seeks to identify various design problem factors in line with its role as both a design and a medium for conveying messages.

This exhibition aims to reshape the understanding of graphic design within our community. Through this graphic design exhibition, Posko Visual presents 13 sub-categories that align with the principles of form and functional discipline in design, which are closely related to the concept of “graphic design.”

Posko Visual 2018 took place at Graha Pancasila, Balai Kota Amongtani, Batu, from November 30 to December 2, 2018.
