POSKO VISUAL 2015
socio-creativity
Posko Visual 2015 was an event organized by the students of the Visual Communication Design program at Universitas Negeri Malang, Class of 2012. The theme focused on socio-creativity, addressing three main issues that are fundamental problems in Indonesia today: poverty, health, and education.
In addition to showcasing the works of young designers, the event included an illustration competition, an infographic contest, a short film competition titled “Jamu untuk Bangsaku,” a photography seminar, and acoustic music performances. This concept serves as a hope and solution to help address existing challenges.
The issues considered for this event included health, education, and poverty. To differentiate this design exhibition from others, the exhibition utilized a special concept where each student could highlight their specialization in creating artwork.
That year, Posko Visual aimed to encourage all layers of society to be more sensitive, responsive, and caring towards the social issues raised in the various design works on display.
Posko Visual 2015 was held over three days, from December 11 to 13, 2015, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, at the City Arts Building in Wisata Batu.
